i need to write a piece (creative story, poem...) for my school's literacy magazine about something modern that can compare to something from mythology (can be greek, roman, from ovid metamorphoses..). this is a bad example but something like writing about a bad hair day (from medusa's hair). i was thinking about writing about going to hell but i don't know what i could compare this event to in mythology.
