Could these problems be related?

3 Months ago suffered a TIA (Mini stroke). 6 weeks ago began experiencing unexplaied pain in my Calves (Something seemed to 'pop' then severe pain and difficulty in walking for a few days) First the right leg and 2 weeks later the left. 4 weeks ago developed Alopecia. Started about the size of a 10p piece and now 4 X that size. No previous leg problems and no previous hair problems at all. Consulted the Dr but not getting any answers at the present time. These problems may well be unrelated but I am suspicious of coincidences.

Could these problems be related?

Is your doctor a neurologist? You need to be consulting a neurologist. Sounds very coincidental to me. But I can't say for sure.

Could these problems be related?

Leg problem may be due to leg vein thrombosis if you have been bed ridden lately.

Hair loss may be due to any medication you have been prescribed for TIA.

Good luck!

Could these problems be related?

Did they find the reason for the TIA to begin with? Did they run tests to determine if you have any clotting disorders? If you had one clot you could very well be predisposed to having another. Did they put you on any anticoagulants or recommend blood thinners?. I agree that they may be related and I'd advise you to consult a specialist.

I have a clotting disorder
