I really REALLY need some advice here...?

I love my boyfriend to pieces. He is everything a girl could wish for. He talks SO sweet to me... everything he says is just amazing.

He says things like "I have developed VERY strong feelings for you, i am 100 percent sure that i am absolutely in love with you."

"Youre the only thing I have been able to think about for so long now. I love everything about you. Your face, body, smile, laugh, peresonality, voice, hair, and your cute little hands."

And so on...

The problem is... I never know what to say back. He says all of these sweet things to me and I can't think of anything. I feel like I am so bad with words compared to what he tells me. I really don't know what to do... I feel so worthless compared to his kind words. I really need some help here... is there any advice for me? I'm afraid he won't know how I feel about him, or that I love him. Today at school he was saying all these things and I didn't know what to say... of course... so he asked what's wrong... and yeah :( help?

Well, what do you like about him? It shouldn't be too hard to come up with at least one little compliment you could return. Make a list and draw from it as needed.

Why don't you e-mail him your question here? It's really nicely written and, if you find it hard to put your thoughts into words, he will really get the point of what you were trying to say.

Everyone expresses their feelings in different ways. Some people are verbal while others are physical. I show my boyfriend how I feel about him by the way I treat him and doing special little things for him. He tells me I'm beautiful constantly. We all express ourselves individually. You just need to figure out what your "love language" is. If you feel the same way about him, next time say..."I guess I've been acting weird because I love hearing all of those wonderful things you say, but it makes me feel bad because I'm not as good with words. I want you to know that eventhough I don't always verbalize my feelings for you, I DO love you and feel the same way" (if you do). It's always good to be up-front about those sorts of things. Be honest with him and tell him that it's difficult to get the words to come out. At the same time, work on being more verbal. Guys like to hear that they're hot just as much as girls, if not more. So...every once in a while when you like what he's wearing or he does something sweet....say so! Don't think so much about how you say things so much as how they'll make him feel. I promise you a big smile and a "babe, you look so good in that shirt" would mean a lot to him every once in a while.

Tell him how you feel. That you do love him and that you feel bad that you can't express it as eloquently as him. He should understand that the fact you feel bad that you can't express it so well means you do love him. Because if you didn't feel the same you wouldn't feel bad, you would just revel in the compliments.
