HOW To GET A MOHAWK/FAUXHAWK TO STAY UP??!?!?!?

i grew my hair out a little whiles back, its currently at chin-level.

i'd like to put it up, as a massive fauxhawk for halloween, but as you probably allready know, its rather difficult.

one of my buddie's mother happens to be a hair stylist, she did my hair one day as a massive fauxhawk. it looked awesome, and she didn't use any egg whites....

however, shes across the country now, so i can't have her help me out. i do luckly have the same products that she used (got2be glued spray and glue)

basicly, being able to mold it and what not is the not the problem, its geting it to stay up....after blow drying it, and making sure its nice and strong....i find that 20 minutes later it'll be fallling foward, and then it'll just spew all about

so what exactly can i do???i heard i can get a solid piece of cardboard, and use it as a molding board, and blow dry one side up against the other....and vise versa....

other than that, i figure i can straighten my hair first.

Thoughts? advice?

It could be the moisture in the air that is causing it to fall or you could ask your buddy to ask his mom what to do.

I think hair usually falls out of place if you style it if you have washed your hair that day or the day before. Wash it then try it about four days later. You might have more control over your hair. Try and use lots and lots of hair spray. If that doesn't work, that's all I can say. Sorry. Good luck =)

I find that hair wax works really well

Hair spray laquer, like level 3 or something. You spray that stuff on, and your hair's not going anywhere. At all.
