I was on a date on Saturday night and the table next to me had two African American women sitting there with their boyfriends/husbands. Both women had unbelievable Mr. Ed weaves in their hair and these disgusting long cat claw fingernails. The whole time all they did was use their fingernails as like toothpicks and making this sucking sound as they sucked the pieces of food off their nails. I lost my appetite it was so trifilin! I'm not trying to generalize so please don't attack...I am just wondering why on earth do you need nails that long, and what on earth would possess you to want to have 40 pounds of weave on your head? Also...with nails that long how on earth do you wipe you @ss?

People who do things like that are unknowingly feeling inferior. They attract attention to themselves and it compensates for their feelings. Successful people, especially black people, don't dress or act that way because they are confident in themselves. This of course applies to white people too. For example, look at Condoleesa Rice - a Ph D in multiple disiplines. She doesn't do that sort of thing.

Ok, saying that just African American women have large weave on thier heads and large catty finger nails is a judgement. Yes, just ghetto people wear them. I am a latina american, but I don't have any of those. I also think they are unnessessary. I meet lots latina american young girls in my life, who have those things, and I know that ghetto girls have really ugly chewed up nails under those fake catty fake ones. as far as the weave, yeah i dont get it either, but i can tell you it really cracks me up to be sittin in traffic and see a lady next to me beating the crap out of her head because i guess weaves are itchy but you cant scratch regularly or you will mess up your hairdo TFF

After reading your Additional Details, I think I can answer by saying that you sat next to some unclassy people. It's not PC to say anymore, but we all know class when we see/hear and smell it. You can't change people, you CAN change your seat in a restaurant or at least the direction you are looking.
